Who you are actually hiring
Most lighting companies in this market are franchises, and the person who quotes your job is not the person who installs it. That is the thing we are not.
Straight answer first
What we have not proved yet
Buzz Lighting is a new company. As of today it has no Google reviews, no completed installs under this name, and no years in business to point at.
You will not find a review count on this website, or a “500 homes lit” counter, or a founding year that quietly predates the company. Our biggest competitor in the GTA has a long list of five-star reviews and we have none, and the honest thing to do with that gap is name it rather than paper over it. If a lighting company will invent numbers to win your estimate, that tells you what they will do when a run fails in year three.
What we can offer you instead is everything that is actually checkable: who does the work, what goes on your quote, whose fixture we are installing, and what happens when something goes wrong.
The owner
Alex Francisco
Founder and owner-operator. Based in Mississauga, working across the GTA.
Alex does the estimates himself. That is not a marketing position, it is how a one-owner operation works — and it is the reason the price on your quote is the price on install day, because the person who measured the roof is the person who has to stand behind the number.
He has spent years running a residential service business across these same cities: the same driveways, the same subdivisions, the same conversations with homeowners about work being done on their property while they are at the office. The trade is new. The GTA route, the crew and the standard of turning up when you said you would are not.
The sister company
Alex also owns BuzzSkito, a GTA mosquito and tick control business serving the same cities with the same crew and the same vans. BuzzSkito has 150+ five-star Google reviews — that is BuzzSkito’s record, not Buzz Lighting’s, and it does not transfer to a new company in a different trade. It is worth telling you because it is why the two businesses exist: mosquito season runs May to September, Christmas lighting books September to December, and permanent lighting installs peak in the autumn. It is one operation working opposite halves of the calendar.
How we work
What you can hold us to
These are commitments, not credentials. Credentials go on your quote.
The quote is fixed
Priced against the layout on it. If the layout changes, we tell you before we do the work, not after.
The manufacturer is named
Fixture brand, product line and their published specifications go in writing, so you can compare us against anyone.
One point of contact
You call the person who quoted the job. There is no ticket queue and no 1-800 number.
No invented proof
No fabricated reviews, no borrowed photos, no install counts we have not done. When we earn them, they will appear here.
